For something besides highs of 100 degree heat and the never ending lack of rain. Even the muddy water at the beach on our Gulf Coast is starting to look like a tropical paradise to these sun-fried eye-balls of mine. Tried doing a rain dance or two. Nada. Nothing is working. Don't want a tropical storm or anything close but it is the mother of holiday's coming up this weekend. Fireworks can equal bad news with drought. And I won't even mention how the 4-legged's react to the noise that comes along with them. Wishing and hoping.....
We are wishing for rain, cooler temps and silent fireworks for you! Could you wish for the silent fireworks for us too, please?

It has been surprisingly dry here in the Seattle area, too; but our sun has been accompanied by a lovely, cool breeze. It's getting hotter today, though, maybe 82.

We hear ya. It got cloudy for a bit today, and we we're hoping for some water from the sky. But nope. Not today. We even promise to handle the thunderboomers, if that's what it takes.
ReplyDeleteThe Girl went to a big fireworks display at the Navy Base, and came home telling us how pretty it was. We beg to differ. At least it was out over the water.

We have the same problem here! It hasn't rained in about 3 weeks! Okay, until today...we had about 3 drops of rain. Not even enough to lay the dust!
